Vicksburg High boys defeat South Pike 61-58

The Vicksburg High School boys basketball team pulled off a close victory against South Pike Wednesday night in a 61-58 win.

The Gators were led by Sean Hardy who couldn’t be stopped in the match. He finished with 21 points. He also had seven rebounds, four steals and seven assists.

South Pike kept the score close, pushing players like Keshawn Brown to step up. Brown finished the game with 13 points and nine rebounds. Teammates AJ Lumpkin and Jaden Williams each finished with 8 points.

The Gators are now 6-3 and will be back in action Saturday when they will travel to play Forrest Hill High School.
