Vicksburg native Jay Barlow received the First Responder of the Year Award

Vicksburg native Jay Barlow received the Kessler Federal Credit Union Award for the First Responder of the Year last week.

Serving Clinton Fire Department for 16 years, Capt. Barlow is a dedicated fireman and paramedic who jumps at every opportunity to serve the citizens of Clinton and his fellow firefighters. He goes above what is expected of him, and has his hand in training upcoming firemen to meet the standards and requirements each position within the Clitnon Fire Department holds.
