Vicksburg police are investigating two cases of grand larceny

Officers responded to two calls on Tuesday involving cases of grand larceny.

The first call came in just after 9 a.m. and led officers to the 4200 block of I-20 Frontage Road.

The victim reported to officers that a bicycle, a Trek Top fuel Mountain bike, was stolen. The bike was valued at $6,000.

Later that day, officers received a call just before noon and responded to the 100 block of Fayette Street.

The victim stated someone had stolen two phones, an iPhone 12 and a Samsung S21 from her front porch.

Each phone was valued at around $1,000.
