Vicksburg police recover a stolen truck and have a juvenile in custody

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department recovered a stolen vehicle Monday and have a juvenile in custody for the offense.
On Monday, June 8, at 2:39 p.m. officers were dispatched to 1301 Washington St. due to a report of a stolen vehicle.
The victim reported someone stole a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado.
On-Star advised that the vehicle was located at Walmart. Officers located the stolen truck and placed a 17-year-old male into custody. Another juvenile male, 16 years of age, fled the scene.
Police transported the 17-year-old to the police station, and returned the vehicle to the owner.
