Last updated:
VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–Within the next week, softball will kickoff in the River City as Porter’s Chapel Academy and St. Aloysius High School begin their season traveling.
The Lady Eagles will take part in the Riverfield Tournament on Saturday and strive to make their first game the beginning of a great season. They will be led by third-year head coach Chandler Upton who is looking forward to her team competing this year.
On August 2, the Lady Flashes will take the field against Madison-Ridgeland Academy. Savannah Buck will also enter her third year as head coach with the team looking stronger than in the previous seasons.
With both teams having strong leadership, fans can expect some good ball games this year with plenty of experienced players, especially the younger athletes who have been starting since they were in junior high.
Below is the schedule for both PCA and St. Al.
