Vicksburg woman arrested for sale of cocaine

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department arrested a woman Tuesday for the sale of cocaine.
The arrest came as a result of an undercover investigation at the Jubilee Fastway, 1217 Cherry St., by the VPD Narcotics/NET Team.
Luanna Mejia, 29, of Vicksburg, appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Wednesday, July 8. Lawson set her bond at $25,000 and bound her over to the Warren County grand jury.
