Vicksburg’s 43rd Annual Run through History concluded this morning with approximately 600 runners run in attendance.

The race is divided between a traditional 10k run, 5k walk, and a 1 mile “Cannonball Run. The 10k begin at 8 a.m. with the 5k starting five minutes later.

The race was not held in the park last year due to COVID restrictions, with a route skirting the park. This year, however, the run was a more familiar route. Winding it’s way through the park, the race ended where it begun, just south of the Vistor’s Center.
