Video: Vicksburg Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza

The Fourth of July festivities began at 7 p.m. on Monday, ushered in by a performance of the Star-Spangled Banner by Miss Mississippi Emmie Perkins.

Many locals showed out to enjoy the show and were treated to an extravagant fireworks display afterward.
