Claiborne County held their first annual Christmas Parade on Saturday.
Many people came out to show support including leaders in the community.
The event was a success in many ways and those who put on the parade was very happy about its outcome.
“First of all I would like to thank God and the people in my community (Pattison) for such a great event,” Shiree White said. I couldn’t have pulled this off without you all. When I tell you that today was beautiful I mean just that. Christmas is a holiday that we as families celebrate the birth of Jesus, gather together and love, laugh, and the kids play.”
“Today we did all of that in our little community, and I hear people always talking about Pattison as a whole but when it comes to Pattison we pull together as a family.”

“This was our first Christmas Parade in Pattison ever. It was a vision of mines and I talked to my softball team (PPR BALLERS)
and I told them what I wanted to do for Pattison and they were all in as always so I ran the idea to my Supervisor Coney Dorsey and Sheriff Edward Goods and they were all for it.
“Supervisor Dorsey worked with me from the time I gave him the idea until the last horse left the city.” This young man loves his district and the people that live there and he has been such an inspiration and role model for the community.”
