Vikings clinch playoff spot by defeating Murrah 15-0

Warren Central High School baseball team has now secured a spot in the playoffs after defeating Murrah 15-0 on Friday.

Jack Wright got the win for the Vikings by allowing only two hits and striking out six batters. He also went 2 for 3 at the plate with three RBIs.

Warren Central had a huge third inning where Floyd Davenport, Braxton McCurley, Seth Sterling, Cooper Orman, Wright, and Mayson Shealy all collected RBIs and the Vikings had a total of seven scores in the inning.

Floyd Davenport led the team with three hits followed by teammates Seth Sterling, Wright, and Cooper Orman who finished with two a piece.

The Vikings proved that they were ready to play tonight as they are well coached by Randy Broome.

Warren Central will play Murrah one more time on Saturday at noon but for now they can celebrate on clinching a playoff spot.
