VJHS football team defeated Germantown 22-0 on Thursday

Vicksburg Junior High School football team defeated Germantown on Thursday 22-0.

Quarterback Jordan Clay threw two touchdown passes while rushing for 65 yards and a two-point touchdown conversion.

Marlyn Foy caught two touchdowns for 10 & 30 yards and also snagged a two-point conversion.

Before the night was over, Jacie Scott scored on a two-yard run, followed by a two-point conversion by Jaquez Jones.

The Gator defense was led by Wallyss Curry & Jaiden Thomas who each had multiple tackles.

VJHS will play on Tuesday when they travel to Clinton.
