VJHS girl’s basketball team defeated Old Town 34-27

Vicksburg Junior High School girl’s basketball team took down Old Towne 34-27 on Monday.

The Missy Gators trailed 18-11 at halftime as K. Henderson and M. Williams came away with big shots.

Coming out of halftime, N. Jeffers stepped up big for VJHS, along with N. Watson who pulled off a big shot. The Missy Gators only allowed one point in the third quarter and took a 24-19 lead.

With Henderson, Watson, Jeffers and K. Williams securing late scores, VJHS managed to pull off the big win.

Jeffers and Henderson both led with 10 points and Watson put up five. Z. Knox scored four points and M. Williams added three. K. Willams had two on the board.
