VPD reports two burglaries on Monday

The Vicksburg Police Department is reporting that two burglaries occurred Monday, June 22.

Red Dot Self-Storage, 3040 Indiana Avenue, was the site of a business burglary Monday. Officers responded to a call there at 9:27 a.m. The victim stated someone stole an acoustic drum set valued at $1,500.

Red Dot has been the site of at least two other burglaries recently. Last week, police arrested two men connected with burglaries at the self-storage business.

At 7:41 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a residential burglary in the 100 block of John Allen Street where the complainant reported someone broke into their home and stole two bottles of bourbon.
