Warner headed to Texas Southern University to be the running backs/special teams coordinator

Former Warren Central High School football star Larry Warner has been named as the running backs/special teams coordinator at Texas Southern University.

Warner made the announcement Wednesday night in a Facebook post and let everyone know that he and his family are headed to Houston.

Warner spent last season at the University of Arkansas Pine-Bluff as the running backs coach, but has now found a new home with the Tigers.

Warner is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central. He played under head coach Robert Morgan.
