Following a late night 911 call, a Warren County man was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was taken into custody.

On June 20, just after 11 p.m., Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a suspicious vehicle on Abraham Drive off Paxton Road. The vehicle in question was described as a white truck occupied by a white male who was parked on the road.

Upon arriving, deputies identified John Allen (Trey) White, 40, and found him to be in possession of several grams of methamphetamine and was arrested.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections has placed a detainer on White, preventing him from being able to post bond.

He is charged with felony possession of controlled substance.
