WC defeated Pearl 11-4 on Tuesday

Warren Central High School baseball team grabbed a 11-4 win over Pearl on Tuesday.

The Vikings were down 3-0 early in the game until they picked up four runs from mostly walks to take the lead in the third inning.

Seth Sterling would get WC on the board in the fifth after a triple along with a single from Jack Wright. The Vikings continued to profit from errors made by the Pirate and took the 11-4 win.

Sterling went 2 for 2 while Maddox Lynch, Connor Watkins and Wright all had hits.

Lynch struck out six batters and Wright struck out three.

The Vikings(14-7) will host Northwest Rankin tonight 7:00 p.m.
