WC defeated Terry 12-3 on Thursday

Warren Central High School baseball team defeated Terry 12-3 on Thursday night to get their second consecutive win.

Blake Channell popped things off for WC in the first inning with a big home run.

Things wouldn’t heat up again until the third inning when Kylan Landers sacrificed and brought in a score, followed by Seth Sterling who doubled to bring in two more scores on the board.

Jack Wright and Cade Fairley both doubled in the fifth inning, along with Braxton McCurley who got a big hit which helped pusch the Vikings’ lead to 8-3 heading into the sixth.

Fairley and Channell both ended the night with two hits and one RBI while Preston Lynch, Wright and Sterling each got one hit. Sterling also had three RBIs and Landers and Wright had two.

Landers pitched in the win and struck out five batters.

WC eventually finished the game on top with a 12-3 score, easily taking home the win.
