Warren Central High School freshman football player Decorey Knight Jr. led the ninth grade team to victory on Tuesday against Ridgeland.

Knight took the snaps at quarterback in the 34-14 win where he continued to break free and came up with two rushing touchdowns for the night. His longest run came from 55 yards out that resulted in a score.

Knight not only starred on offense, but he also got in on defense where he made some big plays. He was also called in on special teams as well, a key factor helping the team to 2-0 for the year.

Knight and the Vikings will play again on Tuesday when they travel to face Clinton to expand their winning streak.
