Warren Central High School suffered their third straight loss on Friday as they fell to Northwest Rankin 30-20.

The first half was crucial for Vikings. The Cougars managed to keep gaining access to the end zone and took a 27-7 halftime lead.

TJ Thompson came out in the second half and scored for WC. Thompson finished with 102 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown from quarterback Jack Wright. Mark Gray also had a rushing touchdown for WC.

Although WC continued to make a second half comeback, it wasn’t enough pull off the win. Warren Central now holds a 3-3 record. They will face Pearl, 7-1, next Friday at home.
