WC took a 3-1 loss to Biloxi on Friday

Warren Central High School baseball team had a close game against Biloxi on Friday in a 3-1 loss.

Biloxi capitalized from two doubles that got them on the board midway through the game. Seth Sterling would help WC her a run after a double.

Biloxi would maintain their 3-1 lead throughout the game although WC began hitting well late in the game.

Floyd Davenport went 2 for 4 at the plate while Preston Lynch, Sterling, and Jack Wright each had a hit. Sterling also had a RBI.

Jack Wright struck out nine batters on the night.

WC will host Biloxi at 3 p.m. in game two of the series.
