WC’s Demby is hyped up about the 2023 season

Warren Central High School football player Julien Demby has his eyes set on greatness for the 2023 season.

“I’m ready and we’re prepared for it because we put in major work this summer with running and lifting weights,” Demby said.

Demby starred at the linebacker position in 2022 where he brought in 90 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and six sacks while helping WC reach the second round of the playoffs. One of his biggest games was against Oak Grove where he grabbed 11 tackles, two sacks and five tackles for loss.

“I feel like I contributed a lot but I’m looking forward to getting better and doing bigger things this year,” Demby added.

He also testified that a state championship is what the Vikings are aiming for in 2023 as their season is set to begin on Friday at home against Clinton.

Demby now has 10 scholarships offers from schools such as East Mississippi CC, Northwest Mississippi CC, East Central CC and a host of others.
