WC’s Smith selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game

Warren Central High School girl’s basketball player Jae’la Smith has been selected to play in the Mississippi Sports Medicine North/South All-Star Game.

Smith, who is a junior, is the lead scorer for the Lady Vikes this season under Head Coach Pooh Robinson. WC currently has a 9-5 record and is 1-0 in district play after a 53-44 win over Pearl where Smith scored 11 points.

The All-Star Game will be held in Clinton at the A.E. Wood Coliseum on Mar. 18.
