William Dwayne Wyatt, 63, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at River Region Hospital on July 3.

Dwayne was born in Beaumont, Texas on Oct. 29, 1958. He was a native of Vicksburg and attended Warren Central High School.

Dwayne was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Wyatt.

Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Kristina Wyatt; father and mother, James and Sara Wyatt; brother and sister-in-law, James I. and Bridgett Wyatt; niece and nephew, Preston and Haley Thomas; sister and brother-in-law Daphne and Bobby Turner; nieces and nephews, Alex and Alayna Turner, Wyatt and Shalyn Turner, and Brandon Turner; father-in-law, Sixto Olmos; sister-in-laws, Shelby Dupuy, Suzy Norwood, Carolyn Maynard, Sharon Wood, and Janete Rabun; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Dwayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Dwayne and his father, James A., owned their own business, Wyatt’s Striping, for 45 years. Their work can be found all over Vicksburg, MS and surrounding areas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5th, from noon – 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS. The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS, with Pastor Bill Talbert officiating.

Pallbearers will be Renny Selby, Bubba Matthews, Greg Hayes, Brett Hayes, Joe Leist, and Jimmy Tuggle.

Family and friends are invited to Solid Rock Church for a celebration of life following the service.
