Williams and Franklin led VHS points against Lanier

Davian Williams and Malik Franklin led Vicksburg High School boy’s basketball team in points in Saturday’s game against Lanier.

Williams scored 17 on the night and Franklin put up nine and five rebounds in the close 56-49 loss against the defending state champions.

Tyrese Ford also contributed eight points in the match.

VHS will host Madison Central on Thursday.
