The YMCA’s Active Y Adults’ (AYA) class took a trip down to Indianola, Mississippi to the BB King Museum.

“The food was fabulous and the live entertainment was such a treat,” AYA Director Mindy Giambrone said. “We wrapped up our visit at the Indianola Pecan House.”

The group of 38 individuals received the benefits of catered food while two blues musicians performed for them for about 45 minutes. They were able to see a short film on King and witness the beautiful memorial of the legendary blues singer.

Due to construction, AYA was unable to go to Club Ebony so they went and visited the Indianola Pecan House where they enjoyed the gifts and unique types of pecans.

AYA traveled mostly by bus while a few members drove their vehicles.
