WC defeats crosstown rivals VHS in a 15-0 win

Warren Central High School’s baseball team took down crosstown rival Vicksburg High School on Thursday in a 15-0 win.

The Vikings racked up a total of 12 hits as they were on fire throughout the entire night to take home an easy victory.

Mayson Shealy pitched all three innings for WC and struck out three batters.

Floyd Davenport went 4 for 4 at the plate and also had three RBIs to go along with three run scores.

Ismael Trujillo, Blake Channell, Jack Wright and Davenport all had multiple RBIs for WC.

Another WC player who was hot in  the game was Braxton McCurley, who went 2 for 3 with two run scores.

Terrance Johnson took the loss for VHS as he struck out five batters and allowed nine hits.

The Gators had a tough time hitting the ball tonight which resulted in the Vikings taking the easy win.
