Fire destroys mobile home in Monday afternoon blaze

A mobile home was destroyed in a fire on Monday afternoon.

At around 3 p.m., Culkin Fire Department responded to 55 Red Hawk Road.  Flames were immediately visible when responders arrived.

The occupant of the mobile home managed to escape the blaze without injury, however, the home was destroyed.

Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
