VHS varsity basketball cheerleaders win multiple awards at UCA Camp

The Vicksburg High School varsity basketball cheerleaders traveled to the Universal Cheer Association (UCA) camp in Orange Beach, Alabama and brought back multiple awards.
While at camp, the Missy Gators picked up skills in sideline stunts, cheers, and dances. The camp also teaches crowd leading, leadership training and team bonding.
The ladies were named the overall small varsity champs in camp routine in addition to earning first place in sideline chant, second place in game day routine, and fourth place in cheer.
Sha’Mya Brown, Precious Drayton, Jakira Gaines, Jamiyah Gaines, and Kynnade Washington were all selected as All-Americans by the UCA staff.
VHS was represented well by the cheerleading squad who showed out throughout the camp.
