Vicksburg native Alex Lawson has been named as the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College homecoming queen.

Lawson is a cheerleader for MGCCC and announced over Facebook her recent selection as homecoming queen.

Mississippi Gulf Coast CC will have its homecoming on Oct. 15.
