Vehicle fire on Baldwin Ferry

A vehicle fire occurred on the 1900 block of Baldwin’s Ferry on Tuesday morning.

A quick response from Ladder 3 led to the fire being put out quickly but the vehicle suffered significant damage to the engine compartment. Firefighters had to use cutters, often called the “Jaws of Life,” to open the hood of the vehicle.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Ladder 3 was assisted by Battalion 1, Henry Williams and Platform 1.
