‘Aced It’ signs at students’ homes celebrate perfect scores on state tests

Yesterday, Vicksburg Warren School District staff members placed 161 celebratory signs at the homes of students who earned perfect scores on their 2018-19 state tests (the Mississippi Academic Assessment Program – MAAP).

Students who earned perfect scores were surprised after school with a sign that announced, “Aced It! A student in this home scored a perfect score on their state test!”

The number of perfect scores on the MAAP tests realized by VWSD students has increased by 103 since the 2016-17 school year when 58 students showed perfect scores. The Students may have earned the score on their English Language Arts, Math, Algebra I, or English II exams.

The District congratulates the students, teachers, parents and staff and is proud to celebrate with them.
