Bail has been denied for two murder suspects accused of killing a Vicksburg woman in Port Gibson.

Judge Odom refused to grant bond to 19-year-old Tanaysheous Ford and her boyfriend, 25-year-old Tyrone Goldberry, who are charged with the murder of 24-year-old Keairis Ford. Tanaysheous is the sister of the deceased, and both are from Vicksburg.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Port Gibson Police Department was notified by the Claiborne County Medical Center of a deceased individual. The victim was identified Keairis Ford.

Further investigation revealed that foul play was involved, resulting in the arrest of Ford’s sister, Tanaysheous Ford, and her boyfriend, Tyrone Goldberry.

The investigation is currently ongoing under the jurisdiction of the Port Gibson Police Department.

Port Gibson Police Chief Russell Dorsey expressed, “My investigators and officers will always do the best they we can to keep Port Gibson safe, and we give our condolences to the family.”
