Vicksburg woman killed in Port Gibson; sister and boyfriend charged with murder

A couple has been accused of killing a Vicksburg woman in Port Gibson on Wednesday night at the Windsor Arms Apartments on McComb Avenue.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., the Port Gibson Police Department was notified by the Claiborne County Medical Center of a deceased individual. The victim was identified as 24-year-old Keairis Ford.

Further investigation revealed that foul play was involved, resulting in the arrest of Ford’s sister, 19-year-old Tanaysheous Ford, and her boyfriend, Tyrone Goldberry, from Port Gibson.

Goldberry and Ford are currently held at the Adams County Jail, facing charges of murder. They are scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.
