Bail set at $300,000 for Port Gibson man charged with capital murder of a Vicksburg native

Bail has been set for Depravious Crystain, the suspect in the capital murder case of Vicksburg native Keairis Ford.

Claiborne County Justice Court Judge Mareesha Odom set bail at $300,000 for Crystain for his connection to the death of Ford. Ford was killed in July in Port Gibson. Her sister, Tanaysheous Ford, and her sister’s boyfriend Tyrone Goldberry, were both charged with her murder.

On July 12 at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Port Gibson Police Department was notified by the Claiborne County Medical Center of a deceased individual. The victim was identified as 24-year-old Keairis Ford.
