Construction on Cherry Street causes partial road closure Thursday

The City of Vicksburg announced that a portion of Cherry Street will be closed to all non-emergency traffic until approximately 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, due to construction. The section between W. Pine Street and Shannon Alley will be affected.
Crews originally planned to reduce the work area to one lane.
Traffic will be detoured during the closure. Please use caution in the area and plan your route accordingly.
