Darion Hill held without bond in the murder of Quawanda Hicks
Suspected murderer Darion Hill made his initial court appearance today in Clairborne County Court.
Hill, 31, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Quawanda Hicks, 21, whose body was found Dec. 26 with multiple gunshot wounds.
Judge Mary Curry ordered Hill held without bond at the Claiborne County Jail.
“He knew we were on him,” Sheriff Edward Goods said of Hill’s capture in Dallas, Texas, at the Dallas Police Department.
“He walked in, told them that he was tired, and he wanted to turn himself in,” Goods added. “He needed a ride home.”
Goods and his deputies traveled to Dallas and returned with Hill Tuesday night, Jan. 14.
