The Strand Theatre (717 Clay St.) is giving folks a great way to kick off the long holiday weekend: a movie double feature tomorrow, Friday night. Buy tickets for one movie or stay for both.
First up is director Peter Jackson’s “They Shall Not Grow Old” starting at 7 p.m.
On the centenary of the end of the First World War, Academy Award winner Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings trilogy) presents an extraordinary new work showing the Great War as you’ve never seen it.
