Edwards native Ron Davis is now coaching at basketball Brandon High School.

Davis, who recently served as coach at Warren Central, has been appointed as the head coach of the ninth grade boys’ basketball team.

A graduate of Raymond High School, Davis averaged 15.6 points per game, a performance that eventually earned him scholarships to Itawamba Community College and Belhaven University. He averaged 12.4 points per game as a Blazer before embarking on his coaching career.
