A celebration of Life will be held for Felisa Dianne Jefferson on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church, 2715 Alcorn Drive, 2:00 P. M.

A visitation will be held on Friday January 6, 2023, at C.J. Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road, from 1 – 3 P. M. and from 4 – 6 P.M. at Greater Grove Street M.B. Church with family present.

Ms. Felisa Jefferson was born July 29, 1969, in Jackson, MS, to the late Della Jefferson and Cornelius Singleton. Ms. Jefferson transitioned on December 24, 2022.

Felisa was preceded in death by her mother, Della Jefferson; nephew, Andrew A. J. Hodges, Jr.; grandparents, Mary and Willie Earl Jefferson; great-aunt, Preavo Harris; four aunts, Ida Mae Jefferson, Edna Alexander, Alberta Barber, and Rosie McCoy; and four cousins, Gregory Moore, Rodney Jefferson, Eddie Deloris Jefferson, and Cameron Jefferson.

Felisa is survived by her children, La’Morris Jefferson and Da’Morris Jefferson, both of Vicksburg, MS; six grandchildren, Ethan Jefferson, Kerrington Jefferson, Harmony Williams, Malayiah Jefferson, Da’Moni Jefferson, and Da’Mir Jefferson all of Vicksburg, MS; two brothers, Patrick Jefferson of Austin, TX, and Christopher (Dalenqua) Jefferson of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Tiffany (Sylvester) Walton of Milwaukee, WI, Jacqueline Wright, Latarsha Singleton Fleming, and Patricia Singleton Mayes, all of Edwards, MS; ten aunts, Sylvia Moore, Annie Williams, Diane (Curtis) Harris, Mary L. Jefferson, Carolyn Webster, all of Edwards, MS, Lee Shields and Rebecca Jones, both of Vicksburg, MS, Willie Mae Nichols of Bolton, MS, Mary I. Jefferson of Bryan, TX, and Corine Peoples of Carrollton, TX; two uncles, Glen (Renae) Jefferson of Bloomington, MN, and Frederick (Kristine) Jefferson of Edwards, MS; godmother, Gwynnetha Jones of Ypsilanti MI; two best friends, Dada Lee and Myra Kyle; one special cousin, Garnet Jefferson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives to include the Harris, Johnson, Barber, and Jameson families.
