PCA takes a tough loss to Prentiss Christian

Porter’s Chapel Academy took a tough 42-6 loss to Prentiss Christian School on Friday.

PCS got their first touchdown from a 81-yard run in the first quarter. PCA found themselves down 26-0 by halftime after the Saints scored three touchdowns in the second quarter.

The Saints got their final two touchdowns in the third quarter while PCA got on board in the fourth from a 4-yard touchdown by Jase Jung.

John Wyatt Massey threw for 248 yards as he went 22 of 38. Taylor LaBarre also had a good offensive game by grabbing 11 receptions for 133 yards.

Zach Ashley finished with four tackles on the night and Thomas Azlin added three. Jung also caught a interception.

PCA will host Christian Collegiate Academy on Friday.
