Flashes freshman basketball team defeated Greenville St. Joe 49-24

St. Aloysius freshman boy’s basketball team defeated Greenville St. Joe on Monday with a 49-24 victory.

The Flashes got a 10 point lead early in the game and went up 13-3 at the end of the first quarter. Nathaniel Moore and Carter Henderson both put up easy buckets for the Flashes, putting the team ahead.

By the second quarter, Ashton Gray stepped up to knock down some shots which gave St. Al a 24-7 lead by halftime.

Moore and Henderson led the team with 12 points and Gray and Carson Henderson ended things with 10. Rishan Patel and Carson Gleese scored two points and Sadler Lambiotte added one in the win under head coach Johnny Williams.

The second half belonged to the Flashes as well. The team continued to dominate the court and brought home the win.
