Over the weekend, the Jackson State Tigers swept Florida A&M in a three-game series.

Former Vicksburg High School player Chris Prentiss had an impressive game, batting 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs and scoring three runs to help the Tigers to a 12-6 victory.

Nikelle Galatas struck out 11 batters and helped JSU put the game out of reach for FAMU in the seventh inning.

The Tigers (9-5) will be back in action Tuesday, as they will travel to South Carolina Upstate for a two-game series.
