Da’Sha McGloster, a former Warren Central High School basketball standout, has announced in a Facebook post that she is taking her talents to Mississippi Valley State University.

”First I would like to thank God for blessing me with the talent to play basketball and giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing on the next level, ” Gloster wrote. “Also thank you to all the coaches that gave me the opportunity and showed interest in my game.

”I wouldn’t have made it this far. With that being said, I’m excited to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Mississippi Valley State.”

McGloster spent the last two seasons at Northeast Mississippi Community College where she just wrapped up her sophomore season. She helped lead the Lady Tigers with 7.3 points per game while grabbing four rebounds during each match as well.

McGloster is a 2018 graduate of Warren Central where she helped the Vikings reach a 22-9 record in her senior year.
