Griffin led the special teams for Southern on Saturday

Vicksburg native Joshua Griffin was a standout on special teams for Southern University on Saturday.

In a 20-10 victory over Alabama A&M, Griffin converted field goals from 40 and 15 yards out and was also perfect on extra points, going 2 for 2.

Griffin, a Warren Central alumnus, will be with Southern as they travel to face Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sep. 30.
