Hall of Fame coach Bobby Bowden diagnosed with terminal illness

Sad news is going around for Hall of Fame college football coach Bobby Bowden, who has announced that he has at terminal illness.
When the 91-year-old made a statement on Wednesday, he sounded at ease with his diagnosis.
“I’ve always tried to serve God’s purpose for my life, on and off the field, and I am prepared for what is to come,” Bowden said in the statement. “My wife Ann and our family have been life’s greatest blessing. I am at peace.”
Bowden had had a tremendous coaching career as Florida State’s head coach after winning over 300 games. He was the Seminoles coach from 1976-2009.
Bowden was inducted into the college football Hall of Fame in 2006.
