VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News) – The Spring 2021 football season helped two Jackson State University football players rise into the spotlight, as Aubrey Miller Jr. and Keonte Hampton have been named as First Team All-SWAC players.

Miller and Hampton both currently play for JSU head coach Deion Sanders while having a profitable spring season earlier this year.

Hampton had a total of 57 tackles in only six games as he was the Tigers’ lead tackler this past season.

Miller finished right behind Hampton with 51 tackles on the year and helped the Tigers to a 4-3 season.

Both players are expected to make a huge impact on the team this fall as their season will begin on September 5 against Florida A&M.
