Harper Bayou Bridge to be closed for repairs

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is advising drivers that the Harper Bayou Bridge will be closed for repairs starting June 7.

The bridge is on LA 603, located in Madison Parish near Afton. It will be closed 5 miles east of US 65 to make necessary repairs.

The work is scheduled to be completed on Friday, July 2.

Please plan for an alternate route during this time.
