Warren Central High ninth grade basketball players Zion Harvey and Calise Henyard led the Lady Vikings to a great season this year under head coach Dana McGiveny.

Harvey and Henyard both kept the freshman team afloat this season on offense as they both led the team in points this season. WC finished this season with an impressive 10-4 record with the help of the two athletic ladies.

Although Harvey and Henyard dominated on offense, it was teammate Jennifer Smith who led WC on defense with her excellent aggressive style of play.

Every member on the freshman team played Cauthen a big heart which helped them dominate most of their opponents and brought them much success.

Next season, the ladies will be playing on the varsity level where they will continue to improve their skills and show off in front of a bigger crowd.
