A head-on collision occurred on Highway 61 South where one vehicle was driving on the wrong side of the highway just inside the Claiborne County line.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital for what appears as non-life threatening injuries.

The northbound lane is shutdown at this time until the area is clear.
