Ian Gordon signs with East Central Community College

Warren Central High School senior Ian Gordon announced today that he has signed with East Central Community College to play tennis.

Gordon has been starting in tennis since his freshman year at Warren Central and has become an excellent athlete during his time as a Viking.

“Coach Steve Summers always made me work hard,” Gordon said. “Even when we had bad weather, he would find us a place to practice.”

Gordon plans to major in sports medicine once he arrives at East Central this summer. He chose East Central over Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Jones College.

Gordon gave a lot of credit to his parents, Shaun and Heather Gordon, who helped him achieve his goals.

“My parents always pushed me to be better,” Gordon said.
